Strengths: Slim, lightweight case, beautiful color display, expandable memory

Weakness: Very poor battery management. Drains battery extremely fast. No internet connection.

The best PDA for the money, but do not plan on surfing the net, and stay near the battery charger. MP3's sound awesome through the built-in speakers. Sounds better than my Dell Axim 5.

As a former Palm V and Handspring Visor Platinum owner, this IPAQ and the PocketPC is light-years ahead of the Palm! I have it set up to sync with Outlook on my office computer, and also to synchronize with Microsoft Money on my home computer. Setting it up to sync to two machines was simple. I believe I can also use it to transfer files between my office and home computers, but haven't tried it...

Strengths: T-R-A-N-S-L-E-F-L-E-C-T-I-V-E Screen & Size (it matters)

Weakness: No Scrolling button on the left side

I guess, IPAQ decided to not to make the perfect Pocket PC by designing everything right except the scroll button. Everything else is simply C-O-O-L.. I hope the next of these slim series will have Bluetooth and the same size. My 4th PPC..Casio 125--Toshiba e310---Toshiba e740---and HP 1910...the best so far...... Don't miss this one. A true Palm Killer...

Strengths: Compactness, brilliant display, tremendous capability for size and price

Weakness: Inexcusably difficult to transfer contacts & schedule from Palm device, typical MS instabilities, short battery life, less intuitive than Palm OS, lack of accessories

This is my 3rd PDA, after Palm M100 and Vx. I always thought size and weight reduction were more important in PDA's than increase in function. So I shunned HP and Compaq products until now. Weakness: If you want wireless communication - this isn't the one for you

very good device, the best option instead of a palm. It´s a pitty about SDIO, no wireless connection. For the same price, I think I would purchase the Dell Axim

Strengths: Great Display Graphics, Contact information excellent: easy to use, very complete, transfers to Home PC quickly. Good quality MP3 music, Info to calendar is easy to print, nice alarm feature.

Weakness: Poor battery life but easy & quick to recharge, Not a communication device (Internet)

This is my first Pocket/PC - PDA and I love this device but I still use my Daytimer for rapid input throughout the day. The 1910 syncs data quickly with my PC and I do use some spreadsheet files for quick reference.

This is my second PDA since the mid90's when I had a good 'ol Cassiopeia that had a keyboard and 8 Megs of memory. That helped me through my projects at the time. This one reminds me of that one, plus more! Has great colors, very bright and runs like a bullet. Very thin and light. Downside? It froze up on me on my second day and on my 4th day. Not a good sign. Strengths: Very bright and colorful screen, slim and compact, decent sound, affordable.

Weakness: Explorer got "hung up" on 2nd day and had to soft reset.

I've been a Palm user for 3 years and made the switch to Pocket PC. The hardest part was transferring contacts to PC. I'm still learning how to use it, but so far I am satisfied I made the switch.
