Best specs on any 24" monitor

Strengths: 10000:1 contrast, HDMI, DVI, and VGA inputs, 5ms response time, 1920x1200 resolution, includes both VGA, DVI, and audio cables.

Weakness: Built-in speakers produce puny sound and touch-sensitive buttons on front are impossible to see.

You're not going to find a better 24" monitor at anywhere near this price. So long as you plan to use it with external speakers and can memorize that the power "button" is on the far right bottom then this is an amazing monitor. The touch-sensitive "buttons" are not buttons at all, just areas on the bottom right of the frame that you touch to power the monitor on/off and/or switch inputs, etc....

24inch Samsung Monitor

Strengths: Excellent quality. Touch panel buttons. Rotation support. Samsung. Has HDMI, VGA, and DVI inputs. Rotates. 1000:1 contrast ratio. 1920 x 1200 resolution.

Weakness: No usb. Touch sensitive buttons are a bit hard to see.

Good built monitor. Design is very good but sometimes buttons are hard to see. This is good monitor for gaming and daily use. This is perfect size monitor- not too big, not too small. Easy to move the monitor up and down.

Samsung 2493HM monitor - Great LCD!

Weakness: None so far

I spent a lot of time looking around and researching panels and choose this one. I have been looking at the Gateway and HP 24" panels and this one seems to combine the best of both but with a much better warranty and overall better quality. I love this monitor and have zero regrets. Note that I don't bother using the built-in speakers so I can't comment on them. The stand is useful as well.

Good Product

Strengths: It has 3 different connections HDMI, DVI, and Analog built in speakers, the monitor rotates

Weakness: menu button, touch screen, can't see in the dark and hard to see sometimes in the lighted areas.

This is my first owned samsung LCD,this monitor is great for gaming and everyday use. I love the use of the different connections that are available. I have two pcs with DVI and the other Analog. I can switch between the two, via menu button touch screen. The only thing that i don't like is the touch screen menu buttons, they are hard to see in poorly lighted areas and at night you can'tsee them...
