GREAT LAPTOP FOR THE MONEY

Strengths: Small, Light, Good Battery. Clear Screen

Weakness: No Web Cam.. and touch pad is a little tricky to get used too other then that the price is great for what all you get.

Would buy again.. Wait till your local store has them on sale, for you can get a great price as I did.. If you install a bluetooth chip and get a Mogo Mouse it makes it even more amazing

Bargain Priced at $499 (Best Buy)

Strengths: Value for the price, clear screen, 2GB, dual core

Weakness: Vista, a little too much garbage-ware

Hey for $499, this is a real deal. Good memory (2GB), clear screen (15.4 inches), dual core. Vista (ick) is my only complaint. Speed is good, boots quickly. Had to remove a lot of useless software like AV and other agents that Dell no doubt sucks some commission out of.

Dependable

Strengths: great feel, solid, nice looking, dependable

Weakness: filled with junk when you get like all other computers, heavy

I have used this machine for two years now and I love it. The keyboard on a Dell has a great touch and feel. I have 2gigs of mem and a 160gig hard drive. I would buy another without question. I own 3 Dells including desktop.

Inspiron 1525 Notebook

Strengths: 3GB hard drive. Best bang for the buck

Weakness: Customer service representatives. Sometimes communication is difficult.

This is my third Inspiron. Ordered exactly what I wanted and the price was sure right. Unfortunately, it arrived damaged but Dell made good and sent out a new system to replace the damaged one. I received my new computer and it works just wonderful. It's fast and with that 3GB it's a screemer.

Dell Inspiron 1525 Laptop Computer (/2GB)

THE GOOD: Slimmed-down design; low starting price; high-end extras are available, including HDMI and touch-sensitive media control buttons. THE BAD: Not as many configuration options as some of Dells other laptops; plastic construction feels somewhat flimsy; base $499 configuration about as powerful as an abacus. THE BOTTOM LINE: Taking consumer complaints to heart, Dell updates its mainstream...

The Dell Inspiron 1525 released at the beginning of 2008, is a 15.4" laptop that is the successor to the Inspiron 1520 and is intended to be a mainstream laptop for budget-minded people.
