Mario Party 4

Strengths: Fun part game, wide variety of mini-games

Weakness: Takes a while to unlock everything

Anyone who has played a Mario Party game knows what to expect. You grab a couple of friends (or in my case my kids), put the disc in and fire it up. You choose a character, hit the "dice blocks" with your character's head, and move around on a variety of play boards. The different events triggered by the space you land on include shops to buy items (that you can use to boost your player or harm...

Mario Party 4

Strengths: A great game to play with friends

Weakness: Mini-games get boring after a while

This game is so fun to play with friends. The mini games get boring after a while but they never get old. Some of the mini-games are hard to manage to me still. Competitions with friends is a lot of fun. I don't like to play video game alone; therefore, this game is great and motivate me to buy GameCube console.

Mario Party 4

Strengths: Awesome party game.

Weakness: 5 and 6 are better?

I love the Mario Party games. You can play them with 3 other people and have a blast. Mario Party 5 and 6 are obviously better, but they all have different mini games. Grab some girls, grab some friends, have a few beers and play. This game will actually entertain EVERYONE.

Nintendo Mario Party 4 GameCube

Strengths: Multi-Player Fun

Weakness: Single player, Similar to Mario Party 3

Nintendo Mario Party 4 for GameCube continues the multi-player family friendly Mario Party Tradition. There are several different game play modes such as Single-player, Story mode, Party mode, and Mini-Games. There is ton of variety in the Mini-Games which will keep you interested in the game for quite a bit of time to come. Single player is weak, but that's a given with this series. If you have...

Mario Party 4

Strengths: Can be played by anyone, gameplay allows for almost anyone to win, great party game, addicting mini-games, inclusion of Nintendo characters

Weakness: Mini-games can get extremely boring after playing too much, single-player game is no fun

If you're looking for a great way to invite tons of friends over and have a great time, I would definitely pick up this game... just make sure that you have 4 controllers! If all you're going to do with this game is single player, avoid it. The simple, competitive gameplay allows for a group of friends to joke and carry on conversation while playing. Great game!

Mario Party 4

Strengths: lots of different types of games, A+ multiplayer, family friendly

Weakness: more of the same when compared with previous titles, single player gets old fast

This is not a game to be played by yourself. MP 4's stregths lie in the multiplayer. Thus, if you don't have friends that are into video games, and more specifically mini-games such as those in previous Mario Party titles this probably is not a worthy purchase. Howevere, this game is fun for the whole family so if you have a spouse and/or kids that play games, then there isn't a better...

Mario Party 4

Strengths: multiplay with 4 players

Weakness: not as fun single player

Mario Party 4 is the first game of the Mario Party series on the GameCube. You can play from alot of modes in Mario Party 4 including single-player Story mode, pure Mini-Game mode, Party mode, and more. Mario Party 4 also has 50 completely new mini-games that you can played as you go though the 5 new board that are included in Mario Party 4. Although Mario Party 4 is the pretty much more of the...

Mario Party 4

Strengths: Fun game

Weakness: Basic... not much more than MP3

You should probably wait for MP5, even though nothing much more will be added. Basic gameplay, fun minigames. That's about all. I like the multiplayer, but it isn't good for a single player.

Mario Party 4

Generally speaking, a good party consists of loud music, obnoxious people you don't really know, copious amounts of cheap vodka, and a few loose women. While Nintendo's Mario Party 4 doesn't rely on any of the above, it does provide a digital alternative to raging hangovers and vague memories of the previous night's activities. Although it's the fourth title in the series, it's the first Mario...

Mario Party 4

The party genre was given a big kick in the pants in February 1999 when Mario Party debuted on the Nintendo 64, proving that board games didn't have to be stale and that mini-games were the ultimate answer for four-player mayhem. Since then it has carried on the tradition with cookie-cutter sequels, and Mario Party 4, the debut of the series on GameCube, is no different. It walks the same path...
