Poor warranty support

Strengths: Great "bang for the buck" in terms of 3D performance! This is the cheapest 6600 GT on the market and it performs very well. It's also runs very quietly. Comes with a full game (Painkiller).

Weakness: Manufacturer did not enable the chip's built in temperature probe. I enabled it via the BIOS and found the card runs pretty hot. About 58 C at idle, 76 C when running Doom 3 or Halflife 2.

Overall this card is FANTASTIC FOR THE PRICE. This is the cheapest way into high-resolution, high frame-rate, high graphic detail gaming. It's priced below all its 6600 GT competitors but has the same chip and memory. It also comes with a full retail version of Painkiller (a solid first person shooter). Strengths: Price, performance is excellent, dual output, vga and dvi

Weakness: Ram has no contact with heatsink

The price is great, and the performance is awesome. All the websites will tell you that the 6600GT is one of the best bang for the buck that you can buy. The agp aspect is great, it will be my last agp video card. I like it a lot, documentation is great. I get good performance for HL2. Buy it and you won't regret it.

The Chaintech 6600GT is an excellent card for gaming. Before I bought this I was using a GeForce4 TI4200. Only after upgrading the graphics card was I able to play new games like Battlefield 2 and play my older ones at even higher settings. For only about $150 this card is very impressive.
