Strengths: Outstanding performance & price! It alerted me the power company's tranformer on the power pole outside was malfunctioning and about to fail. My equipment was protected throughout the entire ordeal!
Weakness: Too big and ugly for some people, but excellent performance doesn't have to be pretty. It looks fine in our rack. No exact voltage read-out: idiot lights only - a minor compromise.
I always wondered if these type of devices were akin to "snake oil". After going through the transformer issue with our power company, I am convinced this device saved our $20,000-worth of equipment!
