Quality RAM in a beautiful package

Strengths: Quality, looks great, speedy

Weakness: none

I have never owned Ballistix RAM, but have heard so many kudos. Finally caved in when these went on sale, and I must say I have no regrets. In fact, I bought a pair of Ballistix Tracers of the same speed shortly afterwards fromm another sale. The best looking RAM I've ever had. I'm pretty sure that these RAM will overclock well, from all the reviews I've seen. I have not had the need to overclock...

Crucial 2gb DDR2 Memory Kit

Strengths: Very slick design, very easy to install, very fast

Weakness: none

I needed some memory upgrade for my PC. I went to purchase this memory for its name and dependability. The price is about right and effect to my pc is very satisfying. I would like to purchase more to up my other pc but I think I will wait for another great price.

Good Crucial Ballistix Memory

Strengths: lifetime warranty, heatspreaders, high speeds at good timings

Weakness: none

Runs at stock speed/timings (1000MHz 5-5-5-15) without issue at 2.2v. Easily runs 800MHz 4-4-4-12 at 2.0v. I think I may need a better mb to max this ram out. Please make sure your motherboard can support memory that requires higher voltage. If you have something like a Dell or other name brand computer this memory probably won't work for you. Just my luck - price dropped after my purchase:(

Fast RAM

Strengths: Speed

Weakness: Price

Solid RAM from Crucial, a Micron subsidiary. Great RAM to have if you plan on overclocking and can find a good deal on it. As with other Crucial kits I've purchased, mine had 0 memtest errors out of the box.

This is some quality memory!

Strengths: Micron D9 Memory Chips High speed Great for overclocking

Weakness: Requires 2.1-2.2V to run at rated speed

To me Crucial has always been a name, which meant "memory that works". This remained true with the performance Ballistix line of their products. This memory is used in an AMD Athlon 64 machine, and is overclocked beyond its rated speed of 1000 Mhz, around 1080 or so, and still going strong. It runs very cool, and memtest and prime stable. The only thing about this memory, which is true for pretty...

Great OC Memory

Strengths: Micron D9GMH chips. Easily Overclocked.

Weakness: None.

I have it running at 1110mhz at stock voltage on a Gigabyte GA-965P-DS3 rev 3.3. It's very stable. Best memory I have ever had. The memory gets a little hot when the system is fully loaded. So, good case ventilation is a must.

Ballistix - Firing up your PC

Strengths: Micron chips guaranteed, since Micron owns Crucial. Nice heat spreaders.

Weakness: Minimum of 2.2 volts needed to run the memory. Otherwise awesome memory.

I picked this memory up when newegg was running it's $100 rebate. It's hard to believe that I paid $200 for a pair of Buffalo Firestix a few months ago and now I have a faster pair of memory for nearly half price. I am currently running a Gigabyte GA-965P-DS3 rev 3.3. The board supports vdimm of 2.2, however to get this memory to post, I needed to adjust the BIOS before installing the Ballistix....

LOVING them

Strengths: This pair is awesome! compatible with my hard-to-please DFI motherboard and pushed to the limits. OC like advertised and more with DFI board.

Weakness: none so far.

have not tried to tighten the timings but heard good things about it. so far, i got it run smoothly at 4-4-4-12 under 1000 and 5-5-5-15 over 1000. Just got it so i am still experimenting.

Ballistix Ram is GREAT!

Strengths: Very overclockable

Weakness: none

I recently purchased this Ballistix ram, and I love it. Crucial has always had good products, and this is no different. I currently have this running at 1200mhz at stock voltage- I know it will go even higher, but I'll have to wait till I get a better motherboard to try that out. Great stuff, and with the recent price drops you can't beat the value.

Amazing Ram for Extreme Gaming

Strengths: Extremely Fast, Great Performance, Low Latency, Easy to Overclock, Looks Awesome

Weakness: Not much: Too Expensive

This is probably the best ram that I have ever bought. It is so fast it's insane. I can easily overclock this to 1200 Mhz or instead, I could also tweak the timing to get excellent latency. The only thing that's not "perfect" about this ram is its price. It seems quite expensive but once in a while, you may be able to find some very good deals on this particular ram. I highly recommend this if...
