Super slow shipping, terrible customer service, will never shop there again. Their price may be good, but the carrier they use, AM home delivery, is terrible. Promised to deliver my order in 2 weeks, but no updates at all in 3 weeks. Called customer service multiple times. They promised to investigate whereabouts of the order and call me back. But they NEVER did! And did I mentioned that they shut off their office for over a week for Easter? This is unheard of. Had to cancel order and dispute credit card.
PLEASE, DO NOT ORDER FROM AJ MADISON!!! There is a reason they are able to keep their prices low. If you plan to place an order anyway, read their return policy, I think it says a lot about how they conduct business. Pay the extra couple hundred dollars to work with an organization that cares about customers!!! Please do not make the same mistake I did. Read the customer reviews. I assumed the majority of the reviews were negative because most satisfied customers don't take the time to comment. I WAS WRONG! I ordered a fridge on January 13th and received it yesterday (January 31st). I had problems with the shipping company and when I called AJ Madison, they were very rude. Since then, I've received my new fridge which has a large dent (4" wide) and the paint has been scratched in 6 separate and noticeable areas. I'm keeping my fridge and praying that nothing else goes wrong with it just to avoid having to do further business with them.
My refrigerator arrived wrapped in plastic, not brand new out of a box. It was filthy on top and dinged on the front , sides and back. Clearly this was NOT a brand new appliancee as advertised. They offered to reduce the price by 20% and replace the door but I preferred to have a new appliance delivered which is what I paid for. After holding on the phone for what seemed like an eternity a polite girl asked if I had sent pictures. As if this makes any difference whatsoever. I told her I had none and she seemed to suggest that if I did not provide photographic evidence of the damage that it was tough luck for me. Moreover, she tried to tell me that Frigidaire products often do not come in boxes which of course is nonsense since I have ordered many frigidaire products before and they all have come in boxes. It is pure folly to suggest otherwise. I asked for a supervisor and was told none were available and that "someone would be in touch with me". Still waiting.
AJ Madison uses third party AM Trucking to deliver the appliances. So your FREE delivery might cost you $100+ (I paid $110 for hauling away my old refrigerator and getting my hew fridge home delivered). I guess that still would be fine if the employees of AM Trucking were competent and have appropriate tools to handle the appliances they deliver.
Unfortunately, I ended up with two holes in my walls (not just dents, holes through), removed entrance doors and damaged hard-wood floor. Of course, AJ Madison customer service told me to file a claim with AM Trucking.
Do NOT fall for the low prices offered by AJ Madison. Their free delivery is a joke. And what's worse, the quality of the service offered is below any acceptable level.
As far as ordering is concerned, I find eShopping to be a great way to find and purchase the products I need. My experience with AJMadison.com's ordering process to be on-par with the other businesses I've used; all excellent. The real proof will be timely delivery of a new product.
Excellent website which answered all my questions. Highland TV & Applicances of New Bern, NC recommended as the best Summit Dealer. They were not wrong.

Very easy navigation. It was easy to find the product I was looking for and compare several brands and prices. Ordering was so simple it's almost scary. Hopefully the delivery and the product quality will be as good as the shopping and ordering process!

I spent a lot of time deciding on an oven; never had any glitches or difficulties with the website.
Their customer service is totally unsatisfactory! I had a scheduled delivery for a washer and dryer and they delivered on a different day when I was out of town. I made multiple phone calls to customer service (on hold long periods) to get them to pick up old washer and dryer as promised, and they never called me back - not even once. It is definitely not worth saving a few initial dollars to deal with this company. Avoid!
