I checked a battery store today before I got on line and they too were $29.99 ( tax). I got this battery for $17.06 a $1.71 discount that they tell you about on the ordering screen. LaptopTraveller sent a battery that did not charge, lost the return, found the return once BBB got involved, and now the battery is no good in less than a year AND sent the wrong battery even though it works. I sure hope I have much better success from eBatt. If so, they will have a long term customer. The first time was easy, the price was the best I'd found online (or locally), shipping was prompt and product was exactly as ordered. The second time was just as satisfactory except for being asked to create an account, which is a part of the process I would have skipped, if allowed, as I have no desire for more accounts, memberships, passwords or other strings tied to my purchases.
