(Edited January 20th by TexGal) Update on issues prev mentioned. Newegg customer serv rep Freddy has resolved all the issues and made good/honoring on the prev agreement from another serv rep.. Freddy has been great to work with.
So, I have had tons of Positive experiences with Newegg over the years. I recently Purchased a TV (55LW6500) , 2 days ago to be exact, and logged onto their site today to check shipping confirmation etc.. only to find that the TV which i Just ordered is now 340 bux cheaper and out of stock. I didnt even stress about it because i have had such amazing experience with them in the past. But after calling them, Newegg outright refused to credit me the difference, saying the sale didnt apply over those days and they dont price match. I became LIVID seeing as how i havent even recieved the TV and it was just shipped yesterday. after them offering me a laughable 35 bux (10% of the difference), I requested to speak to a manager, and then to that managers manager. Eventually I spoke to someone who actually sympathized with the situation and they offered to sorta make it right. Retailer Response (12/20/2011):Dear Jmillar,

Ordered a laptop during a Cyber Monday sale, was told that my billing information didn't match, even though it did. Then was told my shipping information didn't match so I added it to my credit card file, was told by Newegg rep that all was fine, only to be sent an email two days later that the order was cancelled because NONE of my information matched. TOTAL BS! I lost a week of shopping for the item, but was invited to reorder, only now the item is $700.00 more than when I first ordered it and they won't price match because they said it was MY FAULT! worst customer service ever! Most inept people working. Placed on hold for over an hour. Attempted to steal 240 dollars and thought i wouldnt see it. Bunch of crooks! Dont ever order from them!!!!!
(Edited January 13th by camjame) Let me tell you this was NOT a good first experience with this company I can honestly say I not going to recommend them to anyone. They canceled my order in the middle of the night and the item sold out. Told me the address I put down is not on my account. That is the address on my account, haven't had a problem using it in over 2 years. Plus when the rep INSULTS the customer, just makes for a better experience. That rep must be new, hope he got fired. I filed a compalint with the company and a got a PHONE CALL within 10 minutes. This rep was AWESOME. He listened to what I had to say, helped me get a better product(since the one I wanted had sold out) at a great price! Wish I got this rep in the first place. He called me, answered my questions in e-mail and made this a much better experience!!!!

Absolute NIGHTMARE in shipping and customer service. Almost a week after 2nd day shipping was promised, item still has not arrived and the tracking number shows it's going to the wrong address. After speaking with Newegg many many times on the phone (they assured me the address they gave UPS was correct) I cancelled the order. Also, on a previous order a motherboard arrived defective and I wound up purchasing one locally because of time constraints. It cost me $70 more...so much for saving $ at Newegg. NEVER again.
The laptop I purchased through Newegg arrived dead. That's fine; it happens sometimes. What I was amazed was that Newegg required me to pay for the return. It cost me about $15 for the UPS shipping and $2.50 for the box, since the original box was ruined because it was left out in the rain by UPS.
The Memory Finder was very helpful for finding the DDR3 RAM for my motherboard. However, it did bring up duplicate entries that were not in any particular order. It would be great if it had additional filtering like the Guided or Power Search features.
