It's obvious that the vast majority of reviews shown on the site are written by battery engine ownership/employees (they all read like ad copy. Want the truth, or at least, what happened to me? Ordered a battery for my digital camera. It came. It didn't work. Sent it back. They sent another. Didn't work. They sent a third. Doesn't work.The cost of shipping the bad ones back to them was my responsibility, they told me. Now I will try to get all my money and shipping fees back. Only 13.80 but it's the principle. Because I waited several months to try one of the batteries (i was traveling), i doubt i'll get anything back. I feel cheated. What a bad experience.
So far very good experience. I am waiting for my battery to come. My laptop is emacines M5405.
01/21/09---my order was on 1/5/09. the order entry and initial emails was perfect. but the order did not came. still i am waiting for the battery. it looks like it is back ordered. and they did not told me. i called them around 11th, they told me thing shipped 1/5/09. during my call, they seemed a good company, no need to wait.i was skeptical, because they did not charged the credit card until 1/16/09. Now what is this? now they took the money, and i am waiting. for qn 9, answer is wrong because so far i did not rcvd teh battery. i like to hear from the batteryengine, what happened.
Good information, easy to setup and has potential for recommendation to others.
The vendor never confirmed my order, apparently never shipped it, and as a result I never received it. I only hope I was not charged for the item. Will find out on my next credit card bill.

Ordering was a breeze. If product performs as advertized it will be an excellent experience.
Web site indicated the product was in stock, but I received an e-mail from the merchant that they were on backorder and expected to be shipped in about 4 days. I actually received the order on the day they said they would ship it. The product was as advertised and so far is working fine.
Miserable website for finding items. Must look for laptop category to find desktop battery. Do not carry any watch battery. Plus is, items are in stock.
Fast delivey. Paid $7.00 . Was $17.00 at Radio Shack for identical battery.
