Another Fun Star Wars Title

Strengths: Tons of unlockables, Very Creative Game

Weakness: Too Short, Too Easy, Kind of Directed to the Kid Audience

This is a really fun game, but extremely easy. When I started playing this game, it was fun for the first hour. After that, it got repetitive and really easy. The great part about the game, is the unlockables. There are tons of characters to unlock. The problem with this game, is that I believe that it was made to get kids to play, not adults.

This game is fun for any Star Wars nut, but if you are looking for a long and challenging game, this game is not for you. I had fun playing this game, but I lost interest in it extremely quickly. I would only recommend renting this game since it is short enough to beat in the matter of a couple days.

Lego Star Wars

Strengths: Star Wars and Legos, 2 great things come together as one

Weakness: Extremely easy

Lego Star Wars combines 2 of the greatest concepts ever invented: Legos and Star Wars. The game takes you through the entire Star Wars trilogy, set in a Lego Universe. Eveything is made up of Lego Blocks, and it just make a great twist on an already great Franchise. Besides its great graphics, and excellent story, lies a game I would say was initially made for children. The game is extremely short and can be beaten by the average gamer in less than a day, if that long. There really isn't anyway to die, but the replay value is incredible. Definitely one to add to your collection if you love either Legos, Star Wars, or innovative games in general.

Lego Star Wars is fantastic!

Strengths: Amazing presentation. Gets rid of the junk from the Star Wars movies.

Weakness: Too Short. Too Easy.

Lego Star Wars is definitely one interesting little game. It is by far one of the best games to feature blatant product placement.

The graphics in this game are simplistic. Of course, however, you will immediately recognize the great locations of Star Wars such as Naboo. The sound is as expected excellent, considering it is based on Star Wars.

The gameplay is intriguing and simple. There are many (and I really mean MANY) different characters that you will be able to play as, each with his/her own unique abilities. From lightsabers to blasters, it is all here. Furthermore, the gameplay is strengthened because of the massive replay value since there is a lot to unlock.

Overall, Lego Star Wars is one of the biggest surprises and possibly one of the better Star Wars game out there. Definitely recommended if you are a fan and even if you are not.

Lego Star Wars

Strengths: Tons of characters to unlock, fun, 2-player support, faithful recreation of new trilogy.

Weakness: Way too easy and way too short.

This game was a pleasant surprise for me. I was expecting a sloppy game that was rushed to the market (just to cash in on the Episode III craze). But what Traveler's Tales has created with this game that's brandished with Lego license is an incredibly addictive and fun game. You basically follow the entire storyline of the new trilogy (Episode I, II, III). Some minor parts of the trilogy were cut out but overall, Traveler's Tale did a great job implementing the major plot lines with gameplay. There are cut scenes (sadly, not voice acted) but the story is conveyed in a very humorous way (suffice to say, it's great stuff so I don't want to spoil anything for you). Once you collect the parts and beat the level, you can buy new characters at the inn. Then you can go back in what the developers call "Freeplay" mode with any character you want. There was something visceral playing the levels again as Darth Maul. There are some negatives to the game though. It's way too short as you can breeze through this game in about 4 hours. And the difficulty is simply child's play. It's way easy since you have unlimited lives. Combining the Star Wars and the Lego license was pure genius.

Fun To Play

Strengths: This game is fun to play. Great for kids who love Star Wars.

Weakness: Too Easy. Can get through the game relatively quickly.

My seven year old son loves this game. The game relatively easy to get through, but it's fun going through the Lego scene from the movies. I've also enjoyed the game and it's one of the few games I can play with my son without one of getting frustrated.

Lego Star Wars

This is a very good game to introduce video gaming with. My five year old isn't very good but he is getting better. With this game, I can jump in and help him if necessary and back out when he has it back under control. If you die, no big deal, pop right back. Yes, you lose some studs (the items your collecting) but that's what separates the masters from the padawans. Explore and have a good time. There is lots of stuff to see.

Lego Star Wars (Xbox)

Strengths: Cute graphics, fun gameplay, lots of unlockables

Weakness: Very short, aimed for a young audience

Lego Star Wars is the retelling of main points from the first three Star Wars movies using Legos. All of the on-screen characters and environments are made up of Legos, and when destroyed, they turn into Legos. The game looks good and the gameplay is fun. There's a great deal of unlockables in the game, and it will be played through more than once, since it's very short in length.

It's a fun game, even if aimed for younger gamers, and Star Wars fans should give it a look.

Lego Star Wars

Strengths: Interesting take on star wars, follows the first 3 episodes of the series, humorous, graphics, sound

Weakness: May be too “cute” for the older crowd, where are episodes 4-6?

Lego Star Wars gives a very interesting take on the Star Wars series. It follows episodes 1-3 where you can control a variety of characters from the first 3 movies and blast your way through the levels.

The game play is fantastic. Every character wields a weapon suitable to their character in the movie. A Jedi will use a light saber, while Queen Amidala is forced to use a blaster. There are a variety of unlockable secrets and characters as well.

The controls are also fairly well implemented and the sound is also great. The game is also very humorous. However, you can tell that this game was created for a younger audience, so it is very “cute” as opposed to gory. I would recommend this game for all ages, although it was created for kids, it could appeal to all ages.

LEGO Star Wars

Strengths: The most silly Star Wars game ever! Lots of characters to unlock, and lots of stuff (plane parts, etc…) to collect. It’s just fun, especially with two players.

Weakness: Not meant for Star Wars fans that are traditionalists. It’s not a good fighting/strategy game. I mean, they’re Lego people. They have no necks. Don't expect a challenge!

LEGO Star Wars is a fun game, but don’t expect it to really challenge you with difficult enemies or lengthy battles. There are so many characters to unlock and many different items to collect along the way. If you’re a gamer who has to truly beat all aspects of a game, prepare to replay levels with multiple characters. For example, each character has a different strength, so an item may be too high up to get it until you open someone with better jumping abilities. Overall, tons of fun!

My Favorite Childhood Pastimes Come Together on Xbox

Strengths: Lavish use of the Lego and Star Wars licenses; Variety of characters; Smooth gameplay

Weakness: Short; Simplistic

Lego Star Wars for Xbox hits a bull's-eye for its target audience. The game is simple enough for young players, but it's fun for the older crowd as well -- especially if you reminisce about your childhood days playing with Legos and Star Wars toys.

The game takes you through the Episode I, II & III storylines. After completing levels you can return to them as an alternate character -- and there are a ton from which to choose. Additionally, intuitive and often humorous use of force powers along with a cooperative play option round out the best features of the game.

This game is fun. My 7-year old son loves it, and I enjoy playing it with him. It's not a serious game per se, but it's well worth a try if you are (or used to be) a fan of Legos and Star Wars.

LEGO Star Wars

“Sometimes, we have to step back from the hardcore, down and dirty world of serious video gaming and sample something more gentle and innocent”. Yes, that’s what I tell people when I see their reaction to finding out I have been playing Lego Star Wars: The Video Game. You see, it’s a kid’s game. I am an adult and not supposed to be entertained by such. I can buy and play any rated...
