Motorola Surfboard SB4100 Cbale Modem

Strengths: Rock-solid stability, up & running months without any problem

Weakness: I wish it has router capability - 2 output connections

This is a very good cable modem. I purchased it about 18 months ago for $100. Coupled with ATT broadband (now comcast), it provides a solid high speed network. I keep this turned on. I didn't have any single incident with it. It always works for me day and night. Using it for work from home through VPN, as well as my personal use, it works consistently.

Highly recommend to cable internet users.

Never buy this product this is outdated

Strengths: This does not suite for comcast...as per them it is outdated.

Weakness: Outdated model

This does not suite for comcast...as per them it is outdated as it is 4 series. Due to compitability issue buyme.com did not paid return postal charges. Check with service provide before buying this product.

Motorola Surfboard SB4100 Cbale Modem

Strengths: Very easy to setup. This model has a standby switch on the front.

Weakness: None

Just plug it in, call your cable provider and tell them the serial number and the MAC number. I was online right then. Very easy to setup and use. I replaced a SB3100 with this SB4100 to save the $10 per month rental. $93 when I bought and a $30 rebate cinched the deal for me.
