There can be only one!

Strengths: Monster quality, discounted at many places, the best video signal your PS2 is capable of

Weakness: Paying retail price, connectors can be a bit snug

This is the Monster cable that includes component video as well as analog stereo audio. It's a thick, heavy cable typical of Monster design, but it doesn't have that sexy, mesh sleeving that its Xbox equivalant has. However, it is still rather sturdy and it performs as well as any Monster cable I've had.
Since the PS2 is on the way out, many retailers are discounting this cable now (including eBay) so that the price ($20-$25) is comparable to other brands. There's nothing to debate here, this cable is better than anything else out there including first party Sony cables.
It should be noted, however, a majority of PS2 games are only capable of 480i video. Very few are capable of progressive scan output.
However, there are a few drawbacks. While many places have discounted this cable, there are many that have not. Also, the actual connectors on the TV end can be snug, if not a huge pain, to remove.
Overall, highly recommended.

good cables

Strengths: it performs as described. great quality picture.

Weakness: none so far

there's not much to say. this cable performs as it should. it seems to be good quality; i don't foresee having any problems with it. i wish ps2 had hdmi output tho, it would be nice to have fewer cables.

Better cable, better picture, better gaming

Strengths: Quality construction, high quality audio cable included, excellent picture

Weakness: A bit stiff around the connectors

This is a 2-step improvement over the RCA connectors that came with PS2. I have the S-Video connection but this is superior compared to that. If you have an HDTV, you would want this to project the most accurate and clear picture. I upgraded all my consoles to component cable connections and I never want to go back again!

Quality Cable, High Price

Strengths: Allows PS2 to output DVD-quality video.

Weakness: High price.

If you own a PS2, this cable is a must. The PS2 only comes with composite video cables, which outputs the resolution of plain TV programming. If you're playing your PS2 on a high definition TV, the video looks awful. This cable will provide the best possible video the PS2 can offer. Why would you settle for anything less?

Great quality

Strengths: Good band for the price, the price and the qulity factor is the most important for this cable. The cables are sure to improve the quality of the visual.

Weakness: Similar cables can be ound in the market.

This is a very good cable from monster and I would recommend buying it. The only problem which I would find is the length, it would be great if they would have made it little bit more lenghty.
